Propeller & Thread didn’t exactly begin with a business plan.
It started with a closet cleanout.
I’ve always loved shopping—maybe a little too much—and after discovering Whatnot, I eventually found myself with a closet full of things I had overbought, pieces that didn’t quite fit, and, yes… a few things I may have accidentally bought more than once.
So, I decided to start selling them.
What began as a way to clear out my closet quickly turned into something I genuinely loved. I discovered how much fun I had selling women’s clothing, putting outfits together, finding great pieces, and—most unexpectedly—building a community around it.
Before long, I wasn’t just cleaning out my closet anymore.
Propeller & Thread was taking off. ✈
HOW PROPELLER MET THREAD
The name Propeller & Thread brings together two things I truly love: aviation and women’s fashion.
I’m a private pilot, and aviation is much more than an aesthetic to me. It’s a passion that holds a very special place in my heart.
And then there’s the Thread.
I love finding clothes that make women feel stylish and put together without requiring them to sacrifice comfort—or spend a fortune to do it.
Propeller & Thread became the perfect intersection of those two worlds:
My love of aviation & my love of finding really great clothes.

I’m pretty simple when it comes to deciding what earns a place at Propeller & Thread:
Would I buy it? Would I wear it?
I look for pieces that are stylish, comfortable, flattering, wearable and affordable.
Because most of us aren't getting dressed for a perfectly styled Instagram photo shoot.
We’re getting dressed for REAL LIFE.
We’re working. Running errands. Taking care of families. Meeting friends. Traveling. Going to dinner. Doing a million things in one day—and we’d still like to look cute while we’re doing them.
